Transform your lower body training with the Split Squat Belt. Its durable design and comfortable fit make it an essential tool for anyone looking to enhance their fitness routine and strengthen their legs without compromising the lower spine.
Crazy good quality. Everything feels high end. Grip on the inside so it doesn’t slip. Strong buckle. Best part is being able to adjust the length of the hooks. I was able to do much stronger resistance than without it and man did my legs feel it
This is an outstanding Squat Belt. Superior quality and tough built. I love the airplane style buckle and the large hooks. The greatest improvement is the ability to adjust the length of the straps that are numbered. Get this to add a variety to the front squat exercise. My legs feel like Jello when I use this.
As expected Vector Athletics delivered again. Significant improvement over the previous versions. Very stable and comfortable. Love the airplane style buckle. Get one, you won't regret it.
Great belt for hip squats. This belt has an “alpin” like buckle ensuring full lock in and not a plastic buckle. The padding is wide and provides support for the lower back and hips. The side straps provide no guesswork in finding out if both sides are even or not and Easily used when doing deep squats and released while resting. The biggest bonus is the shift from my routine in using a bar loading on shoulders and spine (great since i dislocated my shoulder 5 months ago). I highly recommend this belt as ive been searching for months. Thanks!

Heavy duty construction. Built to last. Especially like the quick connect/disconnect buckle and fully adjustable straps. Very comfortable, yet firm fit. This is going to work really well once I order the Vector Athletics Foot Plate to complete the set.
I’ve been using this belt for my X3. It has done everything that I wanted for squats and calf press. I would highly recommend. The materials and build are second to none.
WOW! Just absolutely stunned by the quality of these belts. I am so glad I purchased both versions! When it comes to doing single leg squats with the band doubled, this really takes it to the next level. Truly an incredible design as well with the V2. I’m giving my X3 squat belt away seeing how it tore TWICE and they’ve replaced it a 3rd time but have been afraid to use it… but super grateful for this belt!
Fits perfectly and very sturdy and thick. Also doubles as a lifting belt. The design allows it to stay stable and securely on the waist without the weight dragging it down. The glutes ( if you have them:)) also prevents the belt from dragging down. The buckle makes it super easy to fasten and take off. Highly recommend.
Really like this updated version of the split squat belt. I have the original version also and I find the newer version to be comfier. I like the rubber feel on the inside of the belt, I think this helps keep the fit secure. I also think the numbers on the adjustment straps are a really useful addition - they help me be more efficient when changing to different exercises. Great job Max!
Love using this belt. I can now focus training my legs with bands. I also use this belt to do pull-ups with bands. I wrap a band around the legs of my pull up/chins station and use the hooks from the belt.
Really like the improvements with the dual buckles which make it much easier to get bangs connected then adjust tension.
The grippy and wider padding is definitely an improvement
The extra padding in the front feels different but I think overall just need to get used to it.
Overall definitely all good improvements.
I would say it is the best belt out there.
Awesome product. I have the Split Squat Resistance Band Belt V1 and now I have the V2, and it is really a far better improved version. I highly recommend it!
Very good belt for adding resistance bands with my footplate (from another company) for split squats and light squats for high volume reps without loading my back. Makes it easy to get a leg workout in.
I love the split squat belt! I use it on my DIY step box and on the total gym for heavy legs lifts and weighted pullups. I highly recommend this product!
The split squat belt works really well. It's extremely well manufactured, and I never feel like there's any danger of anything slipping or giving way.
If I had a request, it would be for the option to shorten the straps a little further. At 5'8" I'd prefer a little more travel between the bottom and top of the movement.
The belt clip is a nice touch, as it allows you to squat down a little and release the catch to get out of the belt, rather than struggling with tensioned bands!
I needed a better way to target my legs due to my shoulders usually giving out on X3 front squats and split squats prior to my legs. I saw all the reviews and the hype about using these new squat belts and tried my best not to buy into another gimmick but eventually gave in.
I must admit that the hype is real and this belt in particular is worth every cent as it’s well built, comfortable, easy to use and very adjustable. I have a 31’ inch waste and was on the fence between what size to buy (Small or Medium) and eventually settled on a medium. I have used this belt for squats, split squats, calf raises as well as dips and pull ups with a band tethered to a dumbbell. You’re eventually going to buy one so the only question you need to ask yourself now is what size?
Just got mine, it is really well made, comfy and super solid. The hardware is all metal and really nice. I've also never roasted my legs doing squats as well as I just did.
I got this just a week ago. I’ve struggled with finding what bar positions worked for squats and calf workouts for a while now. When I saw this I knew how much it could help. I had another belt already so I waited, but decided to try it. It’s made squats and calf workouts so much better and focused since I don’t fight the bar. If you are in the fence, GET IT!!
I had a knee replacement a year ago had been looking for a convenient way to do split squats and regular squats with my band strength training equipment. The Vector Athletics V3 squat belt was the answer for me. I am now able to get a better lower body workout than I have been able to in years. Thank you!
As a person who suffers from herniated disc’s it is imperative that I train my lower body without loading my spine. I have owned a half a dozen different belts to assist me with lower body exercises utilizing bands , foot plated and bars. This version of the Vector athletics belt is hands down the best I have . The build quality is impressive and the ability to adjust allows for tension on the entire range of motion and that alone makes it better than all others out there!
This is a great tool for training legs with a resistance band system. While using the bar in a front squat is nice, I realized I have some imbalances and started doing more split squats to address them. Using the V3 squat belt just makes it much easier to lock in and perform the work (and keep my hands free if I feel I need a little help with balance).
While it is a "split squat" belt, you can do a few other exercises with it. Bilateral squats are manageable, although it helps to use wedges (note: it is easy enough to load from the bottom for squats, but much harder when fatigued at the end of a set. I find myself lowering and then unbuckling the belt when doing squats, basically dumping it at the end of a set.). Calf raises are nice, and you can even bend forward and mimic a donkey calf raise. Is this "needed?" That depends on your program and preferences. I found myself avoiding leg work with the band and bar, but the V3 belt keeps me more motivated to do legs, so it was a great purchase for me.
Love it for pulse squats with my functional trainer and of course lunges with resistance bands. Squats and lunges with the VA belt compare favorable to my experiences with the Exxentric kBox and if squats and lunges are your thing, you may just save yourself $3,000 or more . . .
I finally purchased the Vector Athletics' Split Squat Belt V2 after purchasing and using other squat belts. I've been using the V2 Suat Belt for a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. The belt is comfortable and does not irritate my back as the other belts have. In addition, the ability to adjust the lengths of the band hooks is a big plus.
I can finally use my Variable Resistance bands to get a great leg workout! The hooks make the Vector split squat belt easy to use for both split squats and regular squats. Thank you!
After age 40, you’ve got to get away from the back squat. I use this belt to do various kinds of leg work - again: gets the bands off the back and out if the hands. However, when doing squats, you tend to want to lean forward. Simply put a small kettlebell or dumbbell under your chin to force you to maintain good posture.
